Policy-controlled action

Move from decision to action without losing control.

Turn an approved investigation decision into a response the team can follow. DRX brings playbooks, supported provider actions, response proposals, approvals, and execution history together. Review the intended change and affected systems before it runs, then check the reported outcome and any further verification needed to confirm the security objective.

Check the impact before taking action

Sending a notification and isolating a system have different consequences. DRX shows the proposed action and affected systems, applies the required access and approval checks, and records the reported outcome.

Response controls

  2. Authorize
  3. Review

Controlled response

Move faster while keeping approval and outcome visible.

Nova Detection & Response eXchange

Response actions with DRX

Confirm the intended action, affected systems and policy requirements before work proceeds.

APPROVE

Approval where impact requires it

Keep a second authorized reviewer in the path when customer policy requires it for a higher-impact action.

ACT

Actions available in each connected system

Use approved, supported actions. Exact availability is confirmed during evaluation for each environment.

PROVE

Response action history

For supported actions, keep the decision, approval, progress, reported outcome and recovery context available for review.

FAQ

Questions about Incident Response.

Can Nova execute a workflow without approval for every run?

Supported advisory and lower-risk workflows may run without approval for every execution only when customer policy, granted permissions and the connected system allow it. Containment and other high-impact actions require approval. Hansec confirms the exact model for each deployment.

Which response actions are available?

Action availability depends on the connected system, granted permissions, customer policy and enabled integration. Hansec confirms the supported action set, simulation behavior and approval requirements for each environment.

Does an accepted provider action mean the response is complete?

Not always. Nova records the state reported by the connected system and keeps acceptance, progress, outcome and reconciliation context distinct. A provider acceptance is not represented as successful completion when follow-up verification is still required.
