Emerging Capability · Controlled Preview

Velora Federated Patterns. Recurring threats, local relevance.

VFP identifies recurring threat patterns and proposes threat hunts, alert-priority changes, and detection improvements. It is an emerging capability offered through controlled evaluations. Availability, data use, and allowed outputs are agreed for each evaluation. It is not a generally available federated-learning service.

A pattern becomes a proposal. A proposal remains subject to review.

VELORA FEDERATED PATTERNS CONTROLLED PREVIEW

Velora Federated Patterns is an emerging capability, not a generally available feature. Confirm availability with Hansec. Its proposals do not change active detections, investigation conclusions or response permissions.

01 · Pattern Intelligence

Find what repeats. Rank what matters. Keep the output as a question.

Velora Federated Patterns is designed to help analysts spot recurring activity and decide what to investigate next. It produces proposals. Other Nova capabilities apply their own checks before using those proposals.

01

Recurring-pattern observation

Identify when structurally similar platform-observed situations recur often enough to justify a closer look.

02

Significance ranking

Rank recurring patterns by the strength of the evidence and their relevance to security investigations.

03

Hunt proposals

Turn a recurring pattern into a threat hypothesis that analysts can investigate.

04

Prioritization proposals

Suggest where an observed recurrence may deserve additional prioritization review without changing a live score.

05

Coverage proposals

Identify repeated activity that may point to a gap in detection coverage.

06

Analyst review

Keep the supporting recurrence, quality state and intended consumer attached to every proposal.

02 · Three Proposal Paths

One ranked pattern. Three distinct review questions.

A recurring pattern may suggest a new hunt, a detection improvement or further investigation. Analysts can review which use is proposed and why.

HUNT

Question to investigate

A specific threat hypothesis for an analyst to test.

PRIORITY

Signal to reassess

A proposal to review prioritization context.

COVERAGE

Gap to examine

A proposal to assess whether coverage is sufficient.

03 · Proposal Boundary

Recurrence can guide attention. It cannot prove intent.

Velora Federated Patterns is deliberately separated from detection verdicts, active scoring, rule promotion and response execution. That separation keeps an emerging analytical signal useful without overstating what it knows.

  • A recurring pattern is not a detection, finding or malicious-intent verdict.
  • Velora Federated Patterns ranks proposals. It does not activate hunts, change scores, deploy rules or execute response.
  • Incomplete observation remains incomplete and does not become a low-risk conclusion.
  • Any proposed use still needs the checks and approvals required by the receiving team or capability.

04 · Connected, Not Collapsed

A proposal enters Nova with its limits still attached.

The team or capability receiving a proposal applies its own validation and approval requirements. VFP does not bypass those controls.
