What the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint integration is for
Supports indicator blocking and device containment through Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Nova DRX applies your response policies and approval requirements before sending an action to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
The provider connection supplies a supported destination for DRX. It does not decide that an action is appropriate, expand the customer scope, or bypass the approval policy selected for the environment.
Supported customer outcomes
Nova DRX supports 3 actions for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Block an address with Microsoft Defender
- Adds the selected address to an approved Defender network-control action.

- A simulation or proposal is not treated as an executed provider outcome.
